Your Gem Visa card gives you 6 months interest free on any purchase over $250. And with Shopper's Protection insurance, the things you buy with your Gem Visa also get six month's protection – against future price reductions, loss, theft or damage.*

 

What does Shopper's Protection cover me for?
  • Price Protection: If your purchase goes on sale at the same retailer (even if it's a different location) within 6 months, we'll pay the price difference to your account*
  • Merchandise Protection: If the item you buy is lost, stolen or damaged within 6 months from the date of purchase, we'll pay the cost of repair or replacement to your account*
  • Stolen Card Protection: If your Gem Visa Card is stolen, we'll pay $200 to your account - just for the inconvenience*
  • Balance Protection: If you lose your job unexpectedly, or can't work due to sickness or injury, we'll pay the balance of your account, up to $5000. If you should die, we'll pay the balance in full – up to $20,000*

How much is this peace of mind worth?

The premium is just 1% of the monthly closing balance – capped at $50 per month. So even if you spend a bit more you'll be certain it won't cost you more than $50 a month.

 

How can I get Shopper's Protection?

I already have a Gem Visa Card:

You should first read the Shopper's Protection – Combined FSG, PDS and Policy to see if this insurance is right for you. Then call us on

1300 131 024 and ask one of our consultants to add Shopper's Protection on your Gem Visa account.


I don't have a Gem Visa Card:

Visit: Gem Visa to find out more and apply for a Gem Visa. Once your application is approved and you receive your card, review the Combined FSG, PDS and Policy then contact 1300 131 024 and ask to add Shopper's Protection.


I already have Shopper's Protection and I wish to make a claim:
