From 4 June 2008, when you make a purchase on your GE Money credit card, you’ll have the choice of signing or entering your PIN when verifying your transaction.

Remember, you’ll need a PIN number if you’re travelling overseas or need to withdraw cash.

Follow these easy steps:
- Call 1300 559 082
- Have your card number ready and follow the operator prompts
- Choose and enter your own 4 digit PIN
To make your PIN more secure:
- Don’t select a PIN that uses your birth date, or an alphabetical or numeric code, which is a recognisable part of your name or address.
- Don’t select a PIN which has sequential numbers, e.g. ‘1234’ or where all numbers are the same, e.g. ‘1111’.
- Select a PIN that’s easily remembered only to you, without needing to write it down.
For your security, never:
- Write down or record your PIN or PIN change reference number.
- Save your PIN to a mobile phone, computer, organiser or other device.
- Write down or record a disguised PIN, for example, by reversing the numbers.
If you don’t follow these instructions, in the event of loss or theft, you may be held liable for any unauthorised transactions on your account.
If your card or PIN is lost or stolen, please notify us immediately.
